Floatune Series Timbales,
Marathon Series Timbales
On this patented Timbales Meinl even uses the FloatuneŽ Tuning System.
This system works without having to drill into the shell.
The bottom rim of the Floatune Tuning System is positioned around the shell before the bottom is flanged.
When the head is tensioned the lower rim is drawn upward against the tuning flange and the head and upper
rim are drawn downward over the shell.
The 13" and 14" steel shells are black powder-coated and are equipped with an adjustable and knurled cowbell holder,
which can easily hold several cowbells.

The Timbales of the MarathonŽ Series are professionally equipped yet are offered at a more affordable price.
Steel shells are constructed with two flanges for stability. The brackets are heavy duty style and allow smooth
tuning of the heads which rest on a precision engineered bearing edge. The shells are 14" and 15" in diameter
and are available in a chrome or brass finish. Marathon Timbales are perfect to include in a drum setup.
The set includes a durable stand and a knurled holder for cowbells.
