Amadito Valdes Signature Timbales
Meinl honored one of the world's best timbaleros, Amadito Valdes, with his own
signature timbale. Amadito was born in Cuba and during his long career he has worked
with countless great artists such as the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, Ibrahim
Ferrer, Ruben Gonzàles, just to name a few. Some of the recordings Amadito did in
his long career are milestones of Cuban music, such as Con Todos los Hierros with
the Juan Pablo Orchestra for example. And his Meinl Percussion Artist Series
Signature Timbales will also be a future milestone. His Timbales come with 14"
& 15" steel shells, are equipped with a double braced, adjustable tripod stand. Another feature is the patented Floatune Tuning System
which allows not having to drill the shells.The Meinl Artist Series Amadito Valdès Timbales - a tribute from Meinl Percussion to one of the greatest timbaleros ever.
