Meinl Percussion Artist Luis Conte (USA)
Grammy-winner Luis Conte is an acknowledged master of percussion. His celebrated career includes touring and/or recording with some of the greatest names in contemporary music, including Madonna, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Santana, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Backstreet Boys, Ray Charles and Cuban legends Arturo Sandoval and Chachao. He can also be heard on the scores and/or soundtracks to such movies like Mission Impossible, Rain Man, Disney's animated Tarzan, and many more.
His Meinl Percussion clinic tours take him around the world teaching musicians the essentials and history of Afro-Cuban rhythm.
Luis has designed his own Artist Series Signature Timbales and Studio Chimes.
