Meinl Percussion Artist Alfonso Garrido (Germany)
Alfonso is a very busy and in demand percussionist all over Germany and Holland. He has studied Latin American Music at the Rotterdam Conservatory and in Brazil. He now teaches Latin Percussion at the 'Jazzhausschule' in Cologne.
Besides his busy teaching schedule, Alfonso is the most visible percussionist in German TV. Since 1998, he is a member of "Fred Kellner & die Famosen Soul Sisters" featuring Anke Engelke and the "SAT1 Wochenshow", with who he plays more than 50 TV Shows per year.
Alfonso is also percussionist of Stefan Raab's houseband in his very famous daily comedy show "TV TOTAL" where he is seen al over Germany by millions of people every day.
