Meinl Percussion Artist Stephan Maass (Austria)
Based in Vienna since 1993, Stephan has made a huge name for himself in the European percussion scene ever since. His tasteful playing and creative approach on any musical situation can be heard on more than 400 albums which he has been part of so far.
Names like Randy Brecker, Harold Faltermayer, Count Basic, Wolfgang Ambros, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Idris Muhammad, NDR Bigband, Konrad Schrenk's Extravaganze, Rainhard Fendirch, Konstantin Wecker, and many more relied on Stephan's musicality live and in the studio. He also released a solo album called "Time Out".
Right now Stephan plays with Austrian superstar Rainhard Fendrich and is busy with the worldfamous "Wiener Sängernkaben".
